Aesthetic Death is very pleased to announce an ongoing collaboration with funeral doom act - Destruction Of Orion.
Born from an undeniable calling to channel emotion, through the expression of atmospheric crushing doom.
Destruction of Orion create a deep and intense funeral doom that conjures memories from the zenith of the Finnish scene (Colosseum, Tyranny etc…)
Yet manage to transcend the past, bringing unique patterns of beauty, chaos and visceral emotion through each track.
Destruction Of Orion have created albums whose inner turmoil resonates deeply. Few doom bands can create sorrow that is so inescapably authentic. A lived experience of pain and anguish.
Recording of the third album is underway, with a release tentatively planned for the autumn.
Mournful, harrowing, bleak and beautiful. This is funeral doom of undeniable genius.

Originally issued on CD in late 2025, “Adrift” now receives its long-awaited LP version, the vinyl counterpart to the band’s nautical-themed, melodic funeral doom opus. The album expands on SUTRATMA’s established sound, combining crushing weight and slow-burning atmospheres with a more pronounced sense of melody and dynamic depth.

An unexpected merge of dark extremities - which forms together into a beautifully constructed piece of work.
DEMONOLOGISTS are renowned for their obscure horror electronics - dark and noisy but structured within rhythmical chaos.
VAINORAS is a talented multi-instrumentalist from Australia - mainly renowned for his metal creations, particularly the doom act SUBTERRANEAN DISPOSITION. Alongside that he has forged a solid body of work with his side projects heading in the dark jazz loungecore fields - punctuated noticeably with his use of saxophone.
Blended together they create a lavish collection of tracks that explore the lysergic properties of the botanical world.

SUTRATMA have been dedicated to playing funeral doom for over 15 years - following a series of mainly self-released albums during that time.
The Californians are a hidden gem, continuing to hone their craft and identity - creating a beautiful and serene funerall doom album in 2025 with "Adrift"
I'm really pleased to be working as a partner, alongside the band, on the vinyl version of "Adrift" - which is currently at press.
Look out for the album release around March 2026.
