The greatest strength of this band (aside from superb musicianship, which speaks for itself) is in building and releasing tension over the course of long developments. That they manage to sustain such a huge amount of energy for around an hour is a tremendous feat of composition, considering the relentless intensity of the music, which demands constant attention from the listener. An exhilarating, exhausting and supremely rewarding odyssey in progressive extreme metal.
