Joe McDonald wrote:
"Magnificent production, layer upon bountiful layer of Doom Metal that lends a full, rich feeling of tension as it progresses. Track 4 mixes in some slightly technical riffs but then you are quickly engulfed in a wall of Sludgy Doom with growling, strained vocals trying to move out front. Track 5 starts off sounding like the perfect soundtrack to a 1930's horror movie until the listener is once again punished by a tidal wave of sonic heaviness. In fact, most all of the tracks mix sophisticated composition with a powerful and very unholy sound dredged up from some dark, filthy places. The perfect CD to play on a loop for hours at a time."
