Founded in spring of 2013 utilizing the talents of members from black/doom band Stoic Dissention, power grind band One Per Coffin, and psychedelic journeymen The Flight of Sleipnir immediately started to forge a sound rooted in sludge, built on doom, and consumed by death. The first release was well received and gained a perfect rating on well-known doom sites, which propelled the band into crafting the latest opus, The Anthems of Dread. Ketch continue to traverse the formless void, seeking to butcher lesser souls as their namesake Jack Ketch --the notorious executioner with a heavy and brutal hand
